Raw DNA access guide

How to get the file Spoke needs.

If you already tested with a consumer DNA company, you can usually download a raw DNA file from your account. If you have not tested yet, MyHeritage is often the lowest-cost starting point when it is on sale. Prices, shipping, country availability, and trial terms change, so check the live total before ordering.

Keep the original fileDo not edit, rename internally, or paste the contents into another document.
Store it privatelyYour raw DNA file is sensitive personal data. Avoid email attachments.
Fit before paymentSpoke checks provider, format, and coverage before asking for a secure upload.

If you already tested

Download your raw DNA file from your account.

If you still need a test, the supplier name links to that provider. Spoke checks fit before asking for upload or payment.
Different providers may be on sale at different times. We list MyHeritage first because it is often the cheapest route to a downloadable raw DNA file, while still checking every file before analysis.
